Please tell us a little about yourself:

Hi! I'm Andika. I've been working as a barista for 12 years, and for the last eight, I've run my own small coffee shop here in Indonesia. While I first thought about entering the Indonesia Barista Championship back in 2016, I finally took the leap three years ago and have been actively competing ever since.

What are you excited to do while you visit the Panama city?:

Seeing the coffee culture here in Panama, and meet so many great coffee professionals.

What are your interests outside of coffee?:

well, actually im into fitness and bodybuilding lifestyle beside doing coffee.

Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize, or who helped you to prepare for the WCC?:

As I mentioned when talking about my coffee heroes, I absolutely have to thank my coaches, Gavin and Raymond, alongside the entire team at Curators Coffee Company. I also want to recognize my best friends, Dirga and Demus, who have believed in my competitive journey from day one. And lastly, of course, my girlfriend, Gaby. Competition prep is incredibly demanding, but she is always right there by my side, helping me manage my stress and keeping me grounded through it all.
