The World of Coffee San Diego event will take place on April 10–12, 2026 at the San Diego Convention Center and will play host to the 2026 World Latte Art Championship (WLAC)—a competition that is the premier showcase of barista creativity, skill, and precision. As one of the most visually stunning competitions in the coffee world, the WLAC will bring high energy and artistic flair to the show floor.
Formerly known as Specialty Coffee Expo, World of Coffee San Diego is the ultimate event for the global tea and coffee community, offering unparalleled opportunities for connection, growth, and inspiration.

World Latte Art Championship
The World Latte Art Championship (WLAC) highlights artistic expression in a competition that challenges the barista in an on-demand performance. Baristas are judged based on visual attributes, creativity, identical patterns in the pairs, contrast in patterns, and overall performance.
Since it’s inception in 2005, the San Diego World Coffee Championships will mark the 20th edition of this competition.
