2026 World Barista Championship

The 26th World Barista Championship comes to Panama City this October 22–25, the first time the event has been held in Central America. More than 50 champions from Competition Bodies around the world will gather at the Panama Convention Center, each having earned their place through a national championship, to compete for one of specialty coffee's top titles. Over four days, baristas get just 15 minutes each to prepare four espressos, four milk-based drinks, and four signature beverages, judged on taste, technical skill, creativity, and presentation. The championship is the headline event of the inaugural World of Coffee Panama, which will bring in thousands of producers, roasters, and coffee professionals from across the industry.
