WCC Representatives

WCC Representatives (Reps) are active WCC Certified Judges who have undergone additional training to qualify them as official WCC Reps.

Reps support and assist Competition Bodies in their championships by leading the national judges training using official WCC materials, ensuring the event is run according to the rules and regulations, and offering support for arbitration. They ensure alignment with WCC standards, protocols, and practices, supporting the Head Judges by acting as a resource for information and mentoring, and overseeing the event as a whole. All licensed Competition Bodies are required to have a WCC Rep present during their event in order for it to be sanctioned.*

WCC Rep-in-Development Program

The WCC Rep-in-Development program is a pathway for WCC Certified Judges to become WCC Reps, requiring applicants to meet specific criteria and submit evidence for assessment. During the program, applicants shadow an official WCC Rep at CB events, assist with leading judges, and oversee competitions. The official WCC Rep evaluates the applicant's performance using a competency tracker and provides feedback to the SCA. The timeline can vary based on event attendance, but the applicant is confirmed as a WCC Rep once they demonstrate the required competencies with minimal suggested improvements.
