Lia (Wenjiao) Zhang

Lia started working in coffee industry since 2011, and has been working as a coffee trainer for more than 13 years in China.

She was certified WBrC sensory judge in 2018, WBC judge in 2023, WCC rep in 2024. 

Judging competitions and evaluating coffees with people from all over the world gave her a new understanding of sensory evaluation. From that time on, her training work also focused more on sensory skills. In 2024, she founded her own coffee training studio (Sensory Lab) and is committed to developing sensory training systems and training tools.
