Benchmark Coffee

Please tell us a little about yourself:

I work at Benchmark Coffee in Sharjah, UAE, and I have been competing nationally since 2022.
Competition has become an important part of my journey because it pushes me to explore ideas, techniques, and perspectives that I may never have discovered otherwise.

A fun fact about me is that before coffee, I competed professionally in Taekwondo. At that time, I didn’t even enjoy coffee personally.

I first entered the barista profession because I need a job urgently in the beginning of Covid 2019, then it looked like a growing career, and I was inspired by the progress I saw from coffee professionals and champions around me.

But over time, coffee became much more than a job.

What are you excited to do while you visit the Panama city?:

Panama Known growing high end and quality coffee, excited to see many coffee friends again and producer,

What are your interests outside of coffee?:

I like to do sport like run and soccer, photography and traveling

Obviously Benchmark and Archers Coffee, The founders that helped me to make this happened, coffee producer, my girlfriend and all of my team involved in this journey
