The Coffee Connections
Please tell us a little about yourself:
I'm a coffee professional based in Gothenburg, Sweden, with over 15 years of experience across the coffee value chain. I currently works as a Quality & Sensory professional and consultant, supporting product development, green coffee evaluation, and roasting quality for both specialty and large-scale commercial brands.
I'm the founder of The Coffee Connections and co-founder of Ritu Coffee Roastery. I have competed and judged in multiple national and international coffee competitions and serves as a national-level coffee judge in several countries.
My motivation for competing comes from a desire to continuously challenge my sensory skills, connect with the global coffee community, and contribute to raising quality standards through education and transparency.
What are you excited to do while you visit the WCC city?
I am excited to experience Bangkok’s vibrant food and coffee culture, connect with producers and competitors from around the world, and explore how traditional flavors and modern coffee craftsmanship coexist in Thailand. I also look forward to spending time with the global coffee community outside of the competition setting.
What are your interests outside of coffee?
Outside of coffee, I am interested in meditation, mindfulness practices, finance and macroeconomics, and spending quality time with my family. I also enjoy writing and sharing reflections on the intersection of coffee, culture, and society.

I would like to thank the SCA Sweden Chapter for their support, as well as my colleagues, mentors, and friends within the coffee community who have continuously shared knowledge and encouragement. I am also grateful to my family for their patience and support throughout my competition journey.
