Please tell us a little about yourself:

I've been working with coffee for 4 years now and have competed since the very beginning of my career. It was my dream to be on the World Cup Tasting Championship stage, and I’m thrilled to see that dream come true. Along the way, I've gained invaluable experience in roasting, coffee sourcing, and cupping, and these competitions have pushed me to constantly improve my skills. I’m honored to represent Turkey and to connect with other coffee professionals from around the world who share the same passion!

What are you excited to do while you are in Geneva?

I've never been to Geneva before, so I don't know much about it yet. However, I do know there’s a beautiful, swimmable lake, and I’d love to try swimming there whenever I get the chance! I’m also excited to explore the city and see what it has to offer in terms of culture, coffee spots, and local cuisine during my free time

What are your interests outside of coffee?

Outside of coffee, I’m passionate about cinema and music. I love exploring different film genres, from classics to avant-garde, and I often find inspiration in the visual storytelling and emotional depth that movies offer. Music is also a big part of my life — I enjoy everything from jazz to experimental electronic sounds. These interests not only help me relax but also inspire my creativity in coffee, as I see parallels in the artistry and attention to detail required in both.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank?

I’d like to thank a few important people and communities who helped me along the way. First, I’m incredibly grateful to my girlfriend for her care and support, and of course, to my dog for always being there. But most of all, I want to thank my mom, who has always believed in me and supported me, even when my ideas seemed completely unrealistic! I also want to recognize my close friends for their constant encouragement and the Turkish coffee community for their guidance and help throughout my journey.
