Echo Coffee Roastery
Please tell us a little about yourself:
I am Austria's Cup Tasters Champion for the third time. Should have competed in Chicago last year but postponed because I received a son few weeks before. 2024 was a big year as I started my own roastery called ""ECHO"" at lake constance in Austria as well. So now family life and self employment are the biggest things in my life.
Before that I was running a coffee shop and roastery in vienna which I really loved. 2020 and 2021 I already competed twice on world stage. The results haven't been that well but I will try to do it better this year.
What are you excited to do while you are in Geneva?
Honestly I don't know. Switzerland/ Geneva is not that well known for specialty coffee. But I am happy to meet old and new friends and producers.
What are your interests outside of coffee?
I love Tennis, Family and Hiking.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank?
My family, especially my wife and son. But also Mikey, Denes and all the other people supporting me and spending hours of trainings with me.
