Please tell us a little about yourself:
I am a passionate Barista excited about all things coffee and people. I developed a keen interest in latte art from my manager at the time Dennis Hseuh, who won the 2022 NZ National Latte Art Championship. After pursuing this I saw how coffee can bring people together and how I can use Latte Art to share a bit of my story and who I am, which is why I'm very grateful to have this opportunity for the first time on the World stage. I haven't been competing for long, two years to be exact till I claimed the National title, so I feel like I still have a lot to learn, but this is the right timing!
What are you excited to do while you are in Geneva?
Check out some lovely scenery and meet some cool people! Looking forward to some nice food and coffee as well.
What are your interests outside of coffee?
Apart from coffee I am a musician, having finished my Music degree in 2021 I play in various bands and I love to put on a good show for people!
Is there anyone you’d like to thank?
All my friends and family who have supported me one way or another, too many to think at the top of my head, but few I'd love to mention are: Dennis Hsueh for inspiring me and starting me off in latte art, Dove for being a huge help and directing me in the right directions, and also my family who are the biggest support to me in life. And last but not least God who is the original designer and creator of everything, I do this because of Him alone.
