Ona Coffee

Please tell us a little about yourself:

Working currently at Ona Coffee in Melbourne, Australia. I have been competing latte art in Australia for 4 years now.

I wanted to compete because I was skilled at latte art and wanted to challenge myself against the best. It was also a way to push myself beyond my comfort zone and grow both personally and professionally.

What started as a part-time job turned into a realisation that coffee was more than just a job for me. Seeing the passion and dedication of baristas to their craft, as well as connections built with others through coffee, made me pursue the coffee industry.

What are you excited to do while you are in Geneva?

I look forward to enjoying the local culture here in Geneva, and all the beauty it has to offer. Of course, very excited to compete in my first WOC competition.

What are your interests outside of coffee?

I love playing and watching football. I also enjoy playing competitive multiplayer online games. I guess I am quite competitive!

Is there anyone you’d like to thank?

I would to thank the Australian Coffee Association (ASCA) for this opportunity to compete in the championships. Also my boss; Sasa Sestic and the company; Ona Coffee, for investing in my growth and me competing for all these years. My support team has been with me for all the years competing and I would not be here without them as well. Thank you
