103 COFFEE

Please tell us a little about yourself:

I’ve been working in 103 Coffee for 9 years, and this is my third time competing in the World Latte Art Championship. It always feels great to be back on stage, especially because I get to meet so many champions and watch their patterns and presentations.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of earning some titles:

8th place at the World Latte Art Championships 2019

4th place at the World Latte Art Championships 2022

2nd place at the World Latte Art Battle 2023

3-time Malaysia Latte Art Champion (2019, 2020, 2024)

Every year, I’m inspired by how professional baristas push the boundaries of creativity and skill, which is why I keep competing. I'm constantly seeking opportunities to improve my skillset and knowledge.

I hope to have the chance to inspire and nurture others in the coffee industry

What are you excited to do while you are in Geneva?

Aside from the Latte Art Championship, I also enjoy watching the Cup Tasters Championship and WCIGS (World Coffee in Good Spirits) Championship. I love going around the coffee booths to try different coffees, and whenever I can, I take the opportunity to explore the beautiful cities, experiencing their unique cultures.

What are your interests outside of coffee?

I enjoy skateboarding, ice skating, roller skating, and playing badminton. I’m currently interested in learning DJing

Is there anyone you’d like to thank?

I would like to thank my company and MSCA for supporting me on this journey. As I always say, without a team, we can’t go far.
