Please tell us a little about yourself:

I currently work in o.p.s. coffee as a drink designer based in Shanghai, one of the best coffee city in China. I have been competing for 2 years in national and 1 year in the world already(but prepared for 3 years due to the covid period). The reason for competing is that it gives the chance for us to keep exploring and pushing boundary of coffee and spirit, and other ingredients that works together. And it's strongly related to what I do in my job.

At first, I just thought the baristas at Starbucks looked really cool and stylish—and they were so nice! Then, in 2015, I made up my mind: I wanted to be in the coffee industry as my life career.

What are you excited to do while you are in Geneva?

I'm absolutely excited about Geneva. Back in 2018 when I first went to France, I even made detour to take the train just so I could pass through Switzerland—I’d always imagined how breathtaking the view it must be. Plus, I'm looking forward for the cheese fondue and lots of good cheese to explore as well.

But my bigger goal? To make it into the top three:)

What are your interests outside of coffee?

Listening to music for sure. And be with my dogs, spending time with them. Hiking and sometimes I just being outdoor and let the sun shine on my head.

My team, for sure—and everyone who’s believed in me unconditionally. Their support lets me charge ahead fearlessly. That includes so many friends who’ve stepped up to help, too.
