Please tell us a little about yourself:
I have worked at Big Shoulders Coffee for about 10 years. This is my first year competing. For which i am proud to say i took first place in nationals. I wanted to start competing due to meeting the 2024 national champion, Eduardo Choza. I am proud to represent the Hispanic community. I enjoy soccer and also enjoy to cook, which was something I did before entering the coffee industry. I entered the coffee industry due to the owner of Big Shoulders, Tim. He made me actually enjoy coffee and not just drink it without really tasting it.
What are you excited to do while you are in Houston?
I am excited to meet new competitors and hopefully learn new techniques.
What are your interests outside of coffee?
Food, soccer, and music
