Beans in cup

Please tell us a little about yourself:

I currently serve as the Marketing & Innovation Manager at Beans in Cup, where my focus is on elevating coffee experiences in workplaces across Sweden.

My journey in coffee began with opening a small café, but my passion for flavors, precision, and storytelling quickly led me deeper into the craft. I started competing in 2018, and this will be my second time representing Sweden on the World Brewers Cup stage.

For me, competition is more than just a challenge—it’s an opportunity to think creatively, push boundaries, and refine my skills with every brew.

Excited for the journey ahead and looking forward to an incredible experience in Jakarta!

What are you excited to do while you are in Jakarta?

I’m excited to explore Jakarta’s vibrant coffee scene and connect with the local coffee community. Indonesia has a rich coffee heritage, and I’m looking forward to trying some high-quality and unique Indonesian varieties.

Beyond coffee, I’d love to soak in the culture, explore the food scene, and experience everything the city has to offer. Of course, the highlight will be competing on the world stage and sharing this journey with fellow coffee professionals from around the globe!

What are your interests outside of coffee?

Outside of coffee, I have a passion for photography and film—capturing moments, telling stories, and playing with light and composition is something I truly enjoy. I also make time for training, as it helps me stay focused, disciplined, and energized, both in life and in competition. Balancing creativity and physical activity keeps me sharp and constantly pushing forward!

Is there anyone you’d like to thank?

Absolutely! I want to express my deepest gratitude to Matt Winton, Sierra and Yisin for their incredible coaching and support throughout this journey.

I also want to recognize my team at Beans in Cup for their encouragement and support, as well as my family who have been there every step of the way.

Lastly, to the entire coffee community—thank you for pushing the craft forward and making this industry such a special place to be a part of!
