ALOHA COFFEE

Please tell us a little about yourself:

I'm Pan from China. Back home, I run my own coffee shop and a coffee academy. These are wonderful spaces where we share our passion for coffee with fellow professionals and coffee lovers. And that sharing, I believe it's truly at the heart of our industry. It's what drives me to keep exploring and pushing forward. I started competing in 2023, and I won the national championship in 2024, so this is my first time standing on the WBC stage. For me, this is not just a competition, but an opportunity for the world to see our generation of young Chinese baristas. My hope is that the coffee I serve feels approachable, easy to understand, yet still carries the spirit of our time: baristas who honor tradition while embracing innovation. The WBC stage is the ultimate platform for this kind of sharing. I am so excited to step onto it, to connect with baristas from across the globe, and to help express coffee's beautiful diversity, its inclusivity, and its endless possibilities.

What are you excited to do while you are in Milan?

I am most looking forward to having a serving of Italian Tiramisu in Milan and enjoying a cup of affogato.

What are your interests outside of coffee?

Part from coffee, my favorite is the cuisine from various regions.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank?

I would like to thank all my good friends around me, as well as my colleagues at ALOHA COFFEE and WOOW BARISTA ACADEMY for their tremendous support and help.
