Please tell us a little about yourself:
I am currently working in Fufu Coffee Studio as head barista and also work as quality controller in Mellow Coffee Roasters. I have been competing for one year and I am very excited about my first year competition achievement as national cup tasters champion.
Being a home brewer for years and sipping coffee in all kinds of all over the world, I am obsessed with flavors in coffee and gradually get very used to sipping coffee in a fast way. Working in the roastery helps me have more chances in cupping coffee and making quick judgement, which made me want to compete in the first place. I want to contribute to our team in the roastery and show more people what our team is dedicated to doing each day, roasting and tasting coffee.
One fun fact about me: I quit my law profession to start my specialty coffee journey and started the roastery with friends who shared the same passion and obsession in specialty coffee after living in a foreign country (now turns into my home) for 5 years.
I started my career in coffee industry from opening my own small shop in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Before that, I was the kind of coffee person who went to all kinds of specialty coffee spots to sip coffee, talk with baristas, participate in latte art throwdowns and brew coffee at home.
What are you excited to do while you visit the WCC city?
I am super excited about trying all the spicy and aromatic thai food after my competition day. And I am also looking forward to visiting Chiangmai coffee regions, exploring coffee scenes in northern Thailand.
And also just have fun in the nature in Thailand :)
What are your interests outside of coffee?
I am interested in wall climbing, doing sports in general.
I also LOVE CATS !!!! Taking pictures of random street cats and saying hi to them is what I love doing all the time.

I want to thank all my team mates in Mellow Coffee Roasters who work with me in training and sourcing all kinds of beans for me. I would also love to thank some of my friends who supported me emotionally :)
