Please tell us a little about yourself:
My name is Jacky Chang, and I’m a barista representing Afloat Coffee in Malaysia. I’ve been in the coffee industry for almost ten years, and I’ve always been passionate about latte art . it’s how I express creativity and emotion through coffee. Competing pushes me to refine my skills, learn from others, and continue growing as a barista. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring design, lifestyle, and everything that inspires creativity.
What are you excited to do while you are in San Diego?
I’m excited to explore the local coffee scene, visit cafés, and meet other passionate baristas from around the world. I also can’t wait to experience the city’s culture and food. It’s always inspiring to see how coffee connects people everywhere.
What are your interests outside of coffee?
I enjoy creating lifestyle and coffee content for Instagram, combining creativity, visuals, and storytelling.
