Yevhen Mazur, Ukraine

YOCO

Please tell us a little about yourself:

My name is Yevhen Mazur, and I’m a brand manager at YOCO Coffee.

I’ve been working in the coffee industry for eight years.

My competition journey started about six years ago with local latte art battles, and three years ago I decided to step onto the national championship stage. I felt it was the right time to test myself, gain objective feedback, and move to the next level of growth.

Beyond latte art, I’m deeply passionate about mixology — exploring new flavors, textures, and preparation methods. It helps me better understand balance, structure, and creativity in coffee.

I first got into coffee as a student looking for a part-time job — but soon realized it was much more than that. It became my life’s work and inspiration.

What are you excited to do while you are in San Diego?

I’m really excited to experience the atmosphere of the World Championship — to see how the best latte artists in the world work, meet them, and exchange ideas. I’d also love to explore San Diego’s coffee culture — visit local roasteries and cafés, and get inspired by their approach.

What are your interests outside of coffee?

I’m interested in art, mixology, and traveling — everything that inspires creativity and new ideas.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank?

Thank you to my wife and family — you are my foundation. To the YOCO team — for your belief and inspiration. To Ukraine — for your resilience. And to our defenders — for making it possible for us to live, create, and raise our flag in every sense of the word.
