Please tell us a little about yourself:
My name is Georgius Audrey Teja and you can call me Odi. I've been working in coffee for 7 years and started my career as a barista in a chain coffee shop in 2017. Currently, I work as a Research and Development Specialist for a coffee consultancy company called So So Good and an experience center called Omakafé in Indonesia.
My competition journey started in 2019 when I had a chance to be a stage manager for the Indonesia Brewers Cup 2019. My path crossed once more in 2021 when I got another opportunity to become the stage manager for the very first Indonesia Coffee in Good Spirit. At that point, I saw the opportunity to become one of the champions and change my life through coffee.
Hence I decided on my competition journey in brewers, at the same time I also started my career as a Research and Development Specialist in So So Good and trained my mixology by creating recipes for brands. After working with brands for the past 3 years, I decided to step further and join Coffee in Good Spirits for the first time and managed to win the competition and represent Indonesia at World stage in World Coffee in Good Spirit 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland.
What are you excited to do while you are in Geneva?
It's always been food, good bar and local coffee scene that always fascinates me!
What are your interests outside of coffee?
Currently, I love running as a part of my training to enhance my physical health and helps me with my presentation.
