Astro Café Roasters

Please tell us a little about yourself:

I began my journey in the world of coffee in 2008, and since then, I have combined my two passions: coffee and mixology. From the moment I entered this wonderful world, I have always been involved in various national and international competitions, including the WCIGS 2017 in Budapest. In 2018, I partnered with a colleague to start a small coffee roastery called Astro Café Roasters, which allowed me to also develop a new passion as a coffee roaster.

What are you excited to do while you are in Geneva?

Definitely exploring the city, as I have never visited Geneva before. I really enjoy visiting specialty coffee shops in the morning and cocktail bars in the evening. Visiting food markets in the cities I travel to is something I always do, and this time will be no differe

What are your interests outside of coffee?

Let's say that my job, my passion and my hobby are coffee and cocktails, but I've also had a passion for music for many years. And when I can, I take my trumpet and get together with friends to play some tunes!

Is there anyone you’d like to thank?

I have to thank my entire team at Astro Café Roasters for all the support they always give me. I also thank my friend and brother Damián Seijas, since we always embark on these adventures together. And finally, I thank all the people who have helped me during the preparation of this competition.
