Please tell us a little about yourself:
Hello! My name is Oleksii, I am 28 years old, and I come from the city of Zaporizhzhia. However, my story with Ibryk began in my childhood—my mother, in my hometown of Nikopol, would prepare this drink every morning, leaving a lasting impression on me.
I work for Zappa and Besha, two companies that sparked and continue to fuel my passion for coffee. I have been part of this industry for seven years.
I decided to participate in the championship because, for me, it is first and foremost a personal challenge. My journey in coffee started out of curiosity for taste, a love for people, and a passion for communication.
People often compare me to Bronson (Tom Hardy).
What are you excited to do while you are in Geneva?
I really want to take a walk along Lake Geneva and visit Mont Repos Park. There, I plan to stroll, drink coffee, breathe in the fresh air, and listen to music.
What are your interests outside of coffee?
I am passionate about football—I sometimes get together with friends for a game. I also train at the gym with a coach, and my newest hobby is horseback riding.
Additionally, I love driving around the city at night while listening to music.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank?
I want to express my gratitude to my parents, my friends, my sponsors, and my team. Each of them has played a crucial role in helping me reach this stage and represent Ukraine on a global level.
