Please tell us a little about yourself:
I wanted to compete because I wanted to learn and grown and make all my dreams come true. I love coffee but I know there is always so much more to learn. I wanted to build connections and the result has been so beautiful. This journey has given me many new friends and for me that is something so special. I wanted to compete to have the opportunity to share a special coffee from a producer that I admire so much. I have done some coffee competitions before, but this is my first year competing in a World Coffee Championship!! Fun fact: I cherish singing to my coffee beans everyday, connecting with the coffee is a top priority to me!
What are you excited to do while you are in Jakarta?
I am so excited to go share coffees with some other amazing coffee competitors and coffee friends. It is so special to be in the same city together! I want to eat a lot of mangosteens.
What are your interests outside of coffee?
I love to train aerial rope! I love to dance and spend time in nature.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank?
I would like to thank Andres, he is my friend and my coach. He has been there with me since the beginning of this journey, and the one that always believes in me! He has helped me through many moments of emotions, trainings, and shared an endless amount of delicious coffees with me! I am so thankful for him being here with me, his coffee knowledge is endless, and never ceases to amaze me. Also, there are so many more beautiful people that have helped me prepare for this competition and I am so grateful for every single one of them. I am so lucky to have had so much amazing support.
