Next Stop: Geneva! Four World Coffee Championships Take the Stage June 26–28

The global coffee community heads to World of Coffee Geneva this week for the 2025 World Coffee Championships (WCC), taking place June 26–28 in beautiful Geneva, Switzerland.

Over 120 of the world’s top competitors will come together to compete in four thrilling championship events: World Latte Art (WLAC), World Coffee in Good Spirits (WCIGS), World Cup Tasters (WCTC), and Cezve/Ibrik (CIC). These competitions will round out six of the seven WCCs for the year, setting the stage for an unforgettable finale in Milan this October at the 25th edition of the World Barista Championship.

Each competition offers a unique look into the craft and passion that drives the specialty coffee industry forward. In the World Latte Art Championship, baristas bring coffee and creativity together, pouring stunning free-pour designs that are judged on symmetry, difficulty, and visual impact. The World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship pushes boundaries with expertly crafted cocktails combining coffee and spirits: where innovation, taste, and presentation come together in every glass. The World Cup Tasters Championship is a thrilling sensory race against the clock, where competitors use only their palates to pick the odd cup out in a series of challenging triangle tests. And the Cezve/Ibrik Championship brings tradition to the spotlight, with competitors showcasing their skills in preparing coffee using one of the oldest brewing methods in the world.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsors, whose contributions help make these events possible. Including our Top Sponsors: WCIGS Qualified Grinder Sponsor Femobook and Qualified Espresso Machine Sponsor Rocket Espresso Milano, WLAC Qualified Espresso Machine Sponsor Thermoplan, and WCTC Title Sponsor Porland and Brita as Qualified Water Filtration Sponsor. Thank you to all sponsors for helping competitors bring out the best in every performance.

Whether you're joining us in Geneva or tuning in from around the globe on the live stream at wcc.coffee or the WCC YouTube channel, don’t miss the chance to witness the most inspiring talent and innovation in specialty coffee on the world stage in Geneva!
