Please tell us a little about yourself:
I've been working as a barista for 16 years. For the past 15 years, I've also been teaching courses on barista skills, latte art, filtered coffee, and coffee-based drinks. I entered my first competition back in 2008 and haven't stopped since. Competing pushes me to go further-it's truly changed my life. One of the main reasons I keep competing is because I'm always learning-new coffee techniques, new perspectives, and I get to connect with amazing baristas from all over.
What are you excited to do while you are in Milan?
I love Milan-it's a city I've visited twice already. This time, I'm looking forward to drinking lots of high-quality coffee and eating as much as I can, because I absolutely love Italian cuisine.
What are your interests outside of coffee?
Besides coffee, I'm really passionate about sports. I love spending time with my family and watching movies-it's how I recharge and enjoy the little things in life.
