Please tell us a little about yourself:
I’ve been fascinated by coffee ever since I was a kid, when I would carefully measure every spoon of coffee and insist on pressing the buttons on my parents’ Moccamaster. I started working in the industry in 2017 as a side gig next to my studies, and I’ve competed every year since. Now that I have completed my thesis I spend all my time in coffee.
What are you excited to do while you are in Milan?
Being humbled by the Milan fashion scene, and maybe find myself a pair of well fitting trousers.
What are your interests outside of coffee?
I try to keep myself in good shape by cycling. Road, gravel and mountain, everything is fun! I also have a strong interest in physics, specifically cosmology and astrophysics, which I also studied.
