Please tell us a little about yourself:

I’m Hyunkang Shin from South Korea. I work as a manager at a café called Months Coffee, located in Busan. I began competing in 2024, placing 3rd that year, 2nd in 2025, and winning 1st place in 2026, which has led me to compete on the world stage. I have developed a deep passion for competitions that combine coffee and spirits, and I aspire to become someone who can make a meaningful impact on this industry in the future.

What are you excited to do while you visit the WCC city?

I hope to compete with many talented competitors, build new connections, and create meaningful experiences and strong results.

What are your interests outside of coffee?

I’m someone who gains energy from meeting people, and I enjoy activities and hobbies that I can share with others. -
