Please tell us a little about yourself:
My name is Abdulkarim Jumah from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I am passionate about the world of coffee — from seed to cup. My journey began in 2019 during the COVID-19 pandemic, where I developed a deep interest in specialty coffee. In 2023, I entered the competition field, gaining valuable experience and connections that shaped my growth. In 2025, I achieved 1st place in the Saudi Cup Tasters Championship. My goal is to reach the world stage and proudly represent Saudi Arabia at the World Cup Tasters Championship.
What are you excited to do while you visit the WCC city?
I’m excited to explore the local coffee scene, connect with international coffee professionals, and experience different cultures and flavors. Most of all, I look forward to representing Saudi Arabia on the world stage and learning from the global coffee community.
What are your interests outside of coffee?
Outside of coffee, I enjoy fitness, traveling, and spending quiet time reflecting or exploring new ideas. I believe balance and curiosity help me grow both personally and professionally.
Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize, or who helped you to prepare for the WCC?
I would like to thank my family, especially my mother, for their constant love and support. I’m also grateful to my friends, colleagues, and the Saudi Coffee Association for their encouragement and guidance throughout my journey. Their belief in me has been a great motivation, and I truly appreciate everyone who shared knowledge, time, and inspiration along the way.
