Please tell us a little about yourself:
I work as the head roaster for Atomic Coffee Roasters in Auckland, New Zealand. I have been competing in cup tasters competitions for the past 4 years always with the intention of having fun and perfecting my sensory skills. I have been working in the coffee industry since my first barista job at 15 years old, my mum was a barista instructor at a roastery and taught me all of my foundation skills!
What are you excited to do while you visit the WCC city?
To explore local cuisine, this is just as much a food holiday for me as it is a coffee holiday :)
What are your interests outside of coffee?
Food (mostly just eating haha), Travel, Reading, Cats
Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize, or who helped you to prepare for the WCC?
My partner Jun and my family and friends for all the emotional support and cheerleading. My colleagues at Atomic for helping me practice.
