Please tell us a little about yourself:
I work at Nkora Coffee in London.
I’ve been competing nationally for the past three years since moving to London. The first year, I placed last. The second year, I became a finalist and finished 5th. And the third year… here I am.
I’m a natural competitor — it’s second nature to me. Everything I do, I treat as a challenge to perform at the highest level. If we’re not competing, where’s the fun? For me, the point is to win. I always go for the W.
Latte art is my biggest passion — an obsession — so combining competition and latte art just makes sense. It’s the perfect match between who I am and what I love.
I might be spontaneous — maybe too spontaneous sometimes :)
Coffee culture in Italy has a powerful influence. I started my career in my hometown, and the moment a barista showed me how to pour a Rosetta, a dream was born. From that day on, I started chasing it.
I’ve worked in hospitality since I was 18, but I only entered the specialty coffee world three and a half years ago. That’s when everything truly changed for me.
What are you excited to do while you are in San Diego?
I don't know what to expect to be honest, it's my first time in the USA.
I will definitely enjoy the moment and be exited to see a new part of the world.
What are your interests outside of coffee?
Take care of myself, travel and stay active.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank?
