Please tell us a little about yourself:
I am Ever Torres. I have been working in the specialty coffee industry for 6 years, and I started competing 5 years ago. For me, latte art is a discipline that requires dedication, creativity, and passion; that’s why I train every day to perfect my technique.
I started my journey in coffee in 2016, unexpectedly, while working at an ice cream shop… and from that moment, I discovered a world that completely transformed my life. Today, coffee is not only my profession — it’s my lifestyle.
What are you excited to do while you are in San Diego?
I would love to win or place among the top competitors, but above all, I want to perform well and represent my country in the best way possible.
I also want to connect with people I admire and enjoy this incredible event to the fullest.
What are your interests outside of coffee?
Outside of coffee, I enjoy playing football, I love motorcycles, and I like drawing and working on graphic design projects.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank?
I am inspired by Julián Duque, my family, and my girlfriend and her family. Their support motivates me to keep improving every day and to pursue my goals with passion and gratitude.
