Please tell us a little about yourself:

Trabajo en typica cafe, ya hace 9 años en mundo del cafe de especialidad, mi motivación fue salir de mi zona de confort y poder competir y saber de que puedo llegar a hacer, tambien soy fan del vino y tienen muchas cosas en comun con el cafe, llegar a la industria del cafe, fue la manera de conectar con la gente y poder transmitir mi el cariño por el arte.

I’ve been working at Typica Café, and I’ve been in the specialty coffee world for 9 years now. My motivation was to step out of my comfort zone, to compete, and to discover what I’m capable of. I’m also a fan of wine, and it has many things in common with coffee. Entering the coffee industry was a way for me to connect with people and to share my love for the art.

What are you excited to do while you are in San Diego?

Conocer la ciudad sus alrededores y su gastronomía.

To get to know the city, its surroundings, and its gastronomy.

What are your interests outside of coffee?

El servicio en el rubro en general, me apasiona, es el poder conectar y transmitir.

Service in the industry in general truly fascinates me — it’s about being able to connect with others and share something meaningful.
