Please tell us a little about yourself:
My name is Eduard. Some people call me John for my first name. I've been in coffee for the last decade and there is no stopping at this point. I'm a production roaster at day based in Qatar and after my work, i love being on the streets, observing and learning more about life. This is the 3rd time we had a brewers cup in Doha and blessed to be the champion this time. I have competed on the last two occassions, placing 1strunner up in the inaugural and 2ndrunner up on the latter. I'm genuinely happy to be here and to represent the people who keeps on believing on themselves.
What are you excited to do while you are in Jakarta?
I'm definitely looking forward in meeting the world class judges, getting coffee from the hands of champions around the globe. Also to talk with all the passionate people who made their efforts to be part of this event. Plus, i have to grab the Chicken Satay :)
Not to mention in seeing the legendary coffee professionals and cafes that is rooted here ☕️
What are your interests outside of coffee?
I love eating :)) pastries and breads everyday is automatic. I like walking in malls and do window shopping.
