Please tell us a little about yourself:

I started drinking coffee because I was looking for a café where I could smoke, and black coffee was the cheapest option I could afford back then during high school. It was the beginning of my passion for coffee.

I started competing because I believed I could do well and wanted to find opportunities for myself. In the first year, I didn't make it to the finals because my compulsory score was really low. After that, I was determined to compete again to improve my compulsory performance. Two years later, I finally succeeded in winning the championship.

What are you excited to do while you are in Jakarta?

Cafe hopping, visit a coffee farm, have fun in every moment!!!

What are your interests outside of coffee?

I love eating and cooking food, and I also enjoy writing fun food critiques. Additionally, I really enjoy fishing and outdoor activities that allow me to connect with nature—it’s so much fun!

Is there anyone you’d like to thank?

I would like to thank the Onehalf Roastery and Triup Coffee teams for their planning, practice, and this amazing coffee. I want to thank everyone in the Bangkok team for helping me during the most hopeless moments of my life. A big thanks to the UCC team for supporting and believing in me. Lastly, I want to thank my parents, P’ Ek, and P’ Tom for the start of this career path.
