Please tell us a little about yourself:

I work in a coffee roasting company as Quality Manager and Project Manager. I am responsible for quality control, product development, and training activities. My work focuses on maintaining high standards, improving processes, and supporting education in both coffee and mixology.

I have been competing for more than 10 years, and this will be my fourth World Championship. My journey began with a deep passion for coffee and hospitality. Over time, I specialized in quality control, sensory analysis, and beverage development. Training and education became central to my career, allowing me to combine technical expertise with creativity in the Coffee in Good Spirits discipline.

What are you excited to do while you visit Brussels?

I am especially looking forward to visiting the European Parliament and immersing myself in the city — exploring its history, architecture, and cultural identity. Experiencing the local atmosphere and traditions is always deeply inspiring and enriches my creative perspective.

Above all, I am proud to represent Italy and Sicily on an international stage, sharing our heritage, excellence, and passion with the global coffee community.

What are your interests outside of coffee?

Outside of coffee, I am deeply interested in mixology and the world of cocktails. I enjoy studying how flavors interact, experimenting with ingredients, and exploring the balance between technique and creativity.

I also love riding motorcycles — it gives me a strong sense of freedom and focus — and I am passionate about scuba diving. Diving with tanks allows me to disconnect completely, explore a different world, and experience nature from a unique perspective.

Naturally, I love tasting traditional food wherever I travel. Discovering authentic local cuisine, understanding its history, and connecting it to culture and identity is something that constantly inspires me, both personally and professionall

Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize, or who helped you to prepare for the WCC?

First of all, I would like to thank my team — Andrea and Giuseppe. Behind every competition performance there is structured preparation, technical discussion, tasting sessions, and continuous refinement. Their support, honesty, and shared vision are fundamental to everything I do.

I would also like to thank all my friends who have supported me throughout this journey. Their encouragement and belief in my work have made this path possible.

Finally, my deepest gratitude goes to my family — especially my wife and my children. Their love, patience, and constant support give me the strength and balance to pursue this commitment at the highest level.
