Please tell us a little about yourself:

I am the Managing Director of Blackboard Coffee Roasters and the current Australian Coffee Roasting Champion. My journey in coffee began in 2006 in his home country of Brazil, where a single sip of specialty coffee sparked a lifelong passion. Since 2010, I have been a fixture on the competitive circuit, a path he credits with shaping his professional identity and relentless curiosity.

Beyond the roastery, I am a dedicated educator, serving as the founder of the Processing Methods Bootcamp and co-author of the Coffee Character Wheel. Driven by a desire to "always chase knowledge," I am currently preparing to represent Australia at the World Coffee Roasting Championship in Brussels. When I am not perfecting a roast profile, you’ll likely find me in the garden, recharging in nature.
