Please tell us a little about yourself:

I have had the pleasure of working with coffee for over 10 years, evolving from trying every batch as espresso (!) to developing a more elaborate quality management system. I have deep respect for the farmers who do the heavy lifting, allowing us roasters to highlight and accentuate the unique qualities of their work. I see this competition as the perfect way to create a sense of urgency to step away from busy days, experiment with roasting styles, improve my skills, and keep learning. I’m looking forward to meeting many interesting people with diverse backgrounds… and, of course, tasting lots and lots of coffee!

What are you excited to do while you visit Brussels?

I've heared many bad things about Brussels! I hope to prove them wrong :)

What are your interests outside of coffee?

I love to explore nature on our mountainbikes with my 4-year old
