Please tell us a little about yourself:

Juanjo Aristizábal is a passionate specialty coffee professional, retired Naval Officer, Certified Executive Coach, and Coffee Consultant. Since 2021, he has dedicated his career to understanding the science and art behind roasting and preparation, always seeking to highlight the identity of each origin in every roasting curve. In 2023, he was crowned International Cold Brew Toddy Champion at PRF El Salvador and founded Coffea Project Co, a brand focused on quality, sensory education, and innovation. He has served as a judge in international competitions such as PRF Colombia and PRF Honduras, and in 2025 he achieved two major milestones: becoming Colombia’s National Roasting Champion and winning the Masters of Coffee Competition in Cauca, organized by Tecnic Café and the Federación de Cafeteros del Cauca.

What are you excited to do while you visit Brussels?

Trainning in the Stronghold S9X Pro, as we meet new people and share knowledge, experiences and good Coffee.

What are your interests outside of coffee?

Make happy my wife, while competing, she has fun at Brussels and Europe, travelling and having good memories.

We have a whole team and a lot of Colombians that have been supporting us, and the best way is to share every step!
